Hex Grid and Graphics Test: Wildfire

This was a test to make sure the hexes in my grid were all talking to each other properly. As a secondary deal, it was a test to see just how slowly the window refreshes when I render each tile each time by a brute force, basic method. It goes pretty slowly, and the scan line is mildly irritating. There seem to be a couple bugs still, but most of the time it works.

If you want to try it, here's a download link.

Extract it all to the folder "Wildfire 1.0" and run the .jar file. You may need to update java, in which case this link will help your pc.

I have no idea how to get this running on a mac, so far.

To run it more than once, you just have to close the window and run it again. There're no fancy buttons here. Remember, not all forest fires are created equal. If it burns out really fast, give it another try!
